Teachers and technology form the pillars on which the different projects of our foundation are based.

Teachers

Each teacher is selected by a rigorous screening and interview based process. Actual classroom teaching is an important selection criterion. After selection, every teacher undergoes orientation. In keeping with the corporate structure, annual appraisals, 360 degree and reverse appraisals are also conducted

The teachers in all Calorx Foundation projectsundergo Competency-Based and Skill-Based training each year. The Competency-Based training comprises of workshops on Time Management, Leadership Values, Communication Skills, Ownership, Mentoring and Team Building. We also encourage building up of skills by attending subject-based workshops organized by the NCERT and different schools throughout India. Teachers are also taught to teach by using LCD screens. The presence of an excellent staff-counselling cell has helped by improving interpersonal relationships and encouraged teamwork.

The organizational structure in our various projects has been modified over the years from the rigid pyramidal to being interchangeable and flexible.  This has enabled teachers, students and the management to interact freely. Besides teaching, educators are involved in nearly all the activities in the school. To this end, every teacher is a part of at least one committee, which is involved in student, parent or educator related activities.  

Technology

We have made use of advanced technologies in our various projects from their inception which has made our processes and management very efficient.  From the admission to results, and to the point that the student leaves the school, the entire process is computerized. The use of technology in the school environment has enabled the installation of an Intranet, which is unified, sequential and interlinks the workings of all the departments.  Our libraries have the ultramodern INFLIBNET. The installing of wi-fi network in our school has enabled students and educators to access information on their laptops anywhere in the school premises.
