Calorx Foundation has always tried to help its stakeholders in whatever way possible. Parents are a very important group that we cater to as they trust us by enrolling their children in our educational institutes. Thus, taking this responsibility into account, Calorx Foundation stared Calorx Parenting Club in December, 2008.

The objectives of the Calorx Parenting Club are 1) to create awareness among parents vis – a- vis parenting issues in the changing world, 2) to create forums related to various issues for healthy discussions, 3) to provide a platform for parents to interact. The parenting club achieves these aims through various workshops on varied topics like “know your child”, “siblings without rivalry”, “emotionally intelligent parenting” and also through screening different documentaries on parenting.

The Calorx Parenting Club conducts workshops for parents and students every Friday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Calorx Pre School, Soham, Nr. Vastrapur Lake, Ahmedabad. These workshops are conducted to provide an insight into efficient parenting. The Calorx Parenting Club targets kids from 2.5 yrs to 10 yrs through various activities such as making puppets, English through stories and pictures, one minute games, and many more.

The Calorx Parenting Club aims to cater to a large number of parents through its additional features of counseling facilities and a full fledged library with resources on parenting.

Changing lifestyles and work pressures take a toll on parents and this in turn may result in ineffective parenting hampering a child’s nurture. Thus, Calorx Parenting Club is an endeavor to help smoothen the parent – child relationship.
